What Is Mormon Tea?

Mormon Tea is a traditional desert herbal infusion made from wild Ephedra plants native to the American Southwest. Unlike caffeinated teas, it offers a naturally grounding, ritual-based experience.

Desert Tradition & Use

For generations, desert cultures brewed Ephedra as a warming herbal drink valued for clarity, breath-opening qualities, and endurance during long days outdoors.

Flavor & Experience

Earthy, mineral-forward, and clean. Best enjoyed slowly, especially in quiet moments, at camp, or as part of a daily ritual.

How to Brew

Steep 1 small bundle in hot (not boiling) water for 10–15 minutes. Brew in a French press, enamel mug, or directly over a campfire.

Sourcing & Craft

Wildcrafted in small batches near Joshua Tree, California. Hand-tied, air-dried, and packaged with care by Bedrock & Bloom.
